Backwash Water Recovery Using VeeMax® Gravity Thickeners

Treating water sources to produce drinking water or treating other water sources quite often benefits from a backwash water thickening step to recover water to increases the overall yield.

Hydroflux recently designed and supplied a VeeMax® Gravity Thickener to a major water treatment plant in Queensland to settle solids produced from the backwashing process and recover supernatant that is returned to the process and recovered.
