Hydroflux Awarded Multiple STP Upgrades for Ridge Camp

November 25, 2025

With over thirty water and wastewater installations across Papua New Guinea, Hydroflux was recently awarded the upgrade to design and supply technology to three wastewater treatments located in the Southern Highland region.

The Epco Roadtrain® is engineered to run with minimal site presence, making it ideal for remote and hard-to-reach locations.

“This latest project is to upgrade the treatment plant’s controls and automation. Our Epco Roadtrain® packaged plant has been operational for over 20 years, and the upgrade will increase the site’s level of automation, allowing remote monitoring and faster access to data to optimise operation and streamline planned maintenance for this remote area.

We have recently expanded our Roadtrain® packaged solutions to include membrane bioreactor and moving bed bioreactor technology to reduce the footprint of the treatment plants. And to further support advanced sewage treatment in remote areas we have developed RapidSmart®, a plug and play solution that is suited to applications under 250EP that is fitted with our HyConnect® Remote Monitoring System” says John Koumoukelis, CEO of Hydroflux.

Hydroflux offer a range of decentralised solutions including potable water, sewage and sludge treatment technologies. The systems are modular, and we even offer the option of bolted treatment plants for remote regions.
