Hydroflux Epco were recently awarded the design and build of a 17M diameter secondary clarifier mechanism for the Kurri Kurri STP.
As part of the contract, Hydroflux Epco will also undertake the mechanical installation of the full mechanism including rotating bridge, centre column assembly, sludge scrapers, scum skimming and effluent weirs.

A LogMax® scraper mechanism was used for this application, comprising a logarithmic sludge scraper design typically used in activated sludge systems. Hydroflux Epco also offer a chevron sludge scraper arrangement and suction header mechanism.
With over 340 installations, many currently in service for more than 35 years, clients can be assured of the high-quality Australian fabrication and robustness of design that Hydroflux Epco deliver.
