Hydroflux Awarded Upgrade Works for Mill STP in Papua New Guinea

Ok Tedi Mining Limited (OTML) operates the Ok Tedi Mine, the longest running open-pit copper, gold and silver mine in Papua New Guinea.

Hydroflux was recently awarded the upgrade of the Mill STP by Ok Tedi – which has an existing packaged sewage treatment system that has been operational for some decades. The upgrade will include new pre-treatment, mechanical and electrical works, instrumentation and aeration upgrade works.

With over 35 years of history in PNG, our Epco range of decentralised solutions has been operating in many mining operations and townships since the 1970’s. In the last decade we have delivered many new packaged, modular packaged plants (Roadtrain® Original and PLUS versions) for sewage treatment, as well as HyPure® potable water packages.

For instances where cranes are not available, our bolted versions allow easy assembly and installation, with sizes ranging from 10 through to 100 cubic meters per day.
