Pump stations are a critical part of a sewage network and reliability is key in maintaining operations across the system and further downstream in the treatment phase.
HUBER’s RoK4 Pump Station screen is designed to fit into a pump well and screens material out prior to pumping.
Pumps mounted in the well are protected from rags, foreign objects and other unwanted material that would otherwise cause mechanical issues with the pumping equipment.
HUBER’s RoK4 is a vertical screen and connects to the main inlet into the pump station.
Screened material is transported vertically using a shafted screw and is compacted prior to discharge.
It suits pump wells with inlets as deep as 6 meters and can process up to 180 L/s in a single unit. It has an integrated bypass for emergency events and operates intermittently which reduces wear and maintenance.
